E-proQure recently spoke with Jeroen Rozeboom and Michiel Leenaers of ICreative about recent developments in the market around e-invoicing and p2p solutions.

Fortunately, there is a turnaround and more and more finance departments are recognizing the importance of a properly automated p2p process. The awareness of the necessity still differs per sector. In addition, Jeroen and Michiel see both finance-driven and procurement-driven processes occurring.
In any case, for a successful e-invoicing or purchase-to-pay process it is crucial that both departments work well together because in practice it is carried out by different departments. In recent years ICreative therefore sees the creation of the position of P2P manager, or that purchase-to-pay as a whole process falls under the responsibility of procurement or the finance department.
