In this new column, which will return every quarterly newsletter from now on, we would like to introduce our team members to you. Veteran Danny Kind kicks off the feature. He has been part of ICreative for more than fifteen years.
Danny joined ICreative as an account manager. After having enjoyed working in the Sales department for over ten years, including a period as Productowner Basware Network, it was time for a new challenge.
Danny found that as a Project Manager in the Delivery department. Fairly recently, he made the move to Teamlead Projects, in the same department.
All balls in the air
In this varied position, Danny is responsible for the execution of all projects and the deployment of the technical consultants to the customers. He also has about three to four more major implementation projects under his belt as project manager.
In addition, he has all sorts of big and small balls to hold high. If customers run into something, he is often the first to be approached.
A role that suits Danny perfectly. He is happiest when he is fully in control and when all those balls really stay in the air, without falling to the ground. He hates loose ends and unfinished business.
In the corridors
Personal contact with you, the customer, also provides a lot of energy. He prefers to walk through your corridors regularly, because, he says, that's where you hear the most.
Online alternatives like Teams are convenient in an emergency, but cannot replace the informal chat at the coffee machine.
"Putting down a software solution is one thing," says Danny, "but maintaining and building on it is two." It is not a matter of delivering a product and being successful with it, but of continuous development. He therefore finds it very important to keep abreast of the latest developments, wishes and questions.
Conversations about Ajax
In between business, Danny is always in for a chat, especially when it's about soccer and his hero club Ajax in particular. With his season ticket he goes to all the (home) matches.
When he is not at work or at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, you can find him on the tennis court or at the pool table in his hometown of Langeraar.
