Dozens of Procurement Professionals gathered at the Groot Warnsborn estate in Arnhem in honor of Lakran Procurement Professionals' tenth anniversary. With a special VIP cab, a BMW i8 which is an innovation in itself, visitors were picked up from the station. This afternoon was all about innovation in Purchase-to-Pay. "A day of dreaming together about new horizons in P2P" said Martin Putters, Lakran.
Doede van Haperen, Lakran director and also chairman of the day kicked off the day full of energy. He gave his vision of the future with different perspectives on P2P. Various speakers gave their views on the changes in the field. Ad van de Poel, recently named 'Pro to Know', delivered an inspiring keynote session on behalf of Basware and ICreative on Supply Chain Finance and Dynamic Discounting and Basware's vision on the future of Financing Services.
P2P Innovation Game
The program concluded with a P2P Innovation Game where the visitors were divided into four different groups, each with its own topic. Big data, User experience, Internet of things and Networked economy. The groups were tasked with coming up with a new innovative idea or software solution for their topic. The solution was then presented to the four keynote speakers, just like in "Dragons Den. The four speakers posed as "Dragons" and gave their opinions on the four different ideas.
Knowledge partner
ICreative was present this day as a knowledge partner. In addition to contributing with Ad van de Poel as keynote speaker, ICreative contributed in various discussions about the future of P2P. The visitors were very positive about the innovation at Basware and in particular the "financing services" available in the Basware Commerce Network. An interesting day, definitely worth repeating.
