"Version 18.10 was a big release for Purchase," noted Martijn Hoogendijk during the "What's new in Basware" webinar hosted by ICreative. Hoogendijk went through 20 new features added from versions 18.10 to the just-released version 19.3.
Basware has 20 new features, 37 improvements and 136 bug fixes since version 18.10. Of the new features, 9 relate to purchase requistion, 5 to analytics and the remainder to order creation, receiving goods, invoice automation, and invoice matching.
'There is a whole new section for guided buying,' Hoogendijk reveals. 'In addition, release 19.2 it contains some great new tools for analytics, such as a performance dashboard and a productivity dashboard.' He noted that for on-premise users, 18.2 is the latest release.
Most new features take effect automatically. In cases where Basware users cannot activate the functionality themselves without bringing in a consultant, Hoogendijk gave an indication of the number of consulting hours required before zooming in on how the functionality works. He also addressed the transition to Edge.
