Van den Bosch Transporten live with Basware SaaS

ICreative, supplier of purchase-to-pay automation, announces that Van den Bosch Transporten has successfully completed its migration to Basware SaaS. 'A good design of the invoice flows in combination with comprehensive and clear reports, and the speed of the application make the invoice processing process future-proof,' says Chris Rijkers, Group Controller at Van den Bosch Transporten.

Van den Bosch Transporten is a top European player in bulk transport. Its activities include setting up global supply chain operations for clients in the food and chemical industries, with Van den Bosch Transporten distinguishing itself as a specialist in intermodal transport. 'We want to be a high-quality partner for our clients. In order to remain so in the future, digital solutions are becoming increasingly important. Modern technology for our supporting, administrative processes is essential for good business operations,' Chris Rijkers believes.

Van den Bosch had been working satisfactorily with the Basware on-premise application for processing incoming invoices for some time, but was eager to take this process to the next level. Migrating to the SaaS platform was the next logical step. In Basware SaaS, upgrades take place automatically, so all accounts payable staff always have the latest version and functionality.

Touchless purchase-to-pay process

Puchase-to-pay software is becoming increasingly sophisticated and aims to make the process from purchase to payment as much as possible without the intervention of human actions (touchless). By spending less time on administrative processes, Van den Bosch can continue to focus fully on its core business.

Rijkers is satisfied with the cooperation with ICreative: "The implementation of Basware SaaS went well. By combining our knowledge and experience and getting the best out of the application, the result is to the satisfaction of both parties. Despite the corona issues, the integration with the financial package and the various order systems went well.'

'We are proud to contribute to the digital transformation at Van den Bosch Transporten. Basware SaaS ensures that Van den Bosch can easily scale up with the intended growth,' explains Vincent Wouters, CEO of ICreative. 'Like ICreative, Van den Bosch has high demands for quality and both parties are also solution-oriented; that provides a good match.'
