ICreative, supplier of purchase-to-pay automation, announces that the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam has successfully completed the implementation of Basware Alusta SaaS. This innovative vocational school in the heart of Rotterdam chose this purchase and invoice processing system primarily because of its user-friendliness.
The Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam (GLR) is a lively comprehensive school in Rotterdam Noord and plays a leading role in the world of communication and media. With approximately 4,500 students, the school is the largest and most innovative media institute in the Benelux. All courses are designed to translate the latest opportunities in media, design and technology directly into education. 'We want to be at the forefront of development. That's why we invest in state-of-the-art technology, not only for our students, but also for our supporting processes.'
The Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam is also very progressive when it comes to procurement and invoice processing. 'We have been processing our invoices digitally since 2002. At the time, we didn't have much choice and Basware was one of the few providers," says financial manager Cees Verdonk. Today, the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam once again opts for Basware because of the far-reaching degree of automation and, above all, because of the ease of use experienced by employees.
'The application has a responsive design. It doesn't matter what device you look on, you get what you need on your screen, whether you look on your mobile, your tablet or desktop," Verdonk illustrates. 'We were also surprised by the flexibility of the package in the cloud. We were able to realize all of our specific needs.'
Basware introduced ICreative as a value added reseller. Verdonk: 'At first we did not see the involvement of an implementation partner as an added value at all, because what is better than being at the source? But what we saw as a minus point, actually became a plus due to the customer-oriented attitude of ICreative.'
The implementation has gone smoothly, agrees John de Bokx, Financial Affairs coordinator at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. The cooperation is running smoothly. We have good access to our questions and don't feel inferior to the large Basware customers. The Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam therefore looks to the future with confidence and is exploring further automation options.
