Ede, Feb. 13, 2019 - During the annual partner conference of Basware, supplier of source-to-pay solutions, ICreative received the Customer Success Award. "This award is the crown on our cooperation with Ballast Nedam," said ICreative CEO Vincent Wouters, who received the award in Copenhagen.

ICreative managed to nominate itself with the implementation of Basware SaaS at Ballast Nedam. Ballast Nedam (part of the Turkish Rönesans Group) is a development and construction company with around two thousand employees in the Netherlands, with projects forming the core of the business. Ten years after the first implementation, the construction group chose Basware again.

The trigger for a reorientation was that the old invoice processing system was end-of-life. 'Basware's solution had changed so much in the meantime that we decided to take a fresh look at all the players in the market. Thanks to this thorough market orientation, we were reconfirmed in our choice of Basware," says Rob Kathmann, ICT Director at Ballast Nedam.

Ballast Nedam confirms the pleasant cooperation with ICreative. 'For us, the pricing model was an important element; that we could also easily explain this to our internal users,' says Kathmann. 'Moreover, at ICreative we saw commitment from all employees involved, from sales to technical staff.'

Implementation

"ICreative provided very good technical consultants, as a result of which the implementation was completed on time and within budget. They also responded quickly in case of complicated issues," says Gerard Vermeulen, ICT Consultant at Ballast Nedam and responsible for the implementation of Basware Alusta.

Ballast Nedam currently processes around 200,000 incoming invoices on an annual basis. In the Netherlands, about 150 financial professionals work with Basware's software for this purpose and 1,200 people are part of the authorization process. 'We see opportunities for rollout to business units abroad in the near future,' Vermeulen said.

Vincent Wouters: "We invest in long-term relationships with customers. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we aim to help our customers reach a higher level. We are very proud to receive the Customer Success Award with this project; it is proof of our good, long-standing cooperation with our client Ballast Nedam.'
